Is FROZEN, DESPICABLE ME 2 or MONSTERS U the Best Animated Film?

What's the best animated movie of the year, according to the people who make animated movies? The Annie Awards have just announced their nominees: The Croods, Despicable Me 2, Frozen, Monsters University, A Letter to Momo, Ernest & Celestine and The Wind Rises. 

Also announced, the nominees for voice acting:

1. Terry Crews, "Earl Deveraux," Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2

2. Billy Crystal, "Mike Wazowski," Monsters University

3. Josh Gad, "Olaf the Snowman," Frozen

4. Paul Giammatti, "Chet," Turbo

5. Steve Carrell, "Gru," Despicable Me 2 

6. Kristin Wiig, "Lucy," Despicable Me 2

7. Pierre Coffin, "Kevin, Bob & Stuart (Minions)," Despicable Me 2  [Pierre Coffin is also the co-director of Despicable Me 2.]

If you saw Frozen this weekend, the short film that opened the film, Get a Horse, was nominated for Best Animated Short.

Overall, Frozen and Monsters University were the most nominated movies with 10 a piece and The Croods and Despicable Me 2 received 9 each. 

The 41st Annual Annie Awards will be held on Feb. 1 at UCLA (Patrick Warburton is the host!).
