You wouldn’t think that Savannah Outen would need any advice on looking gorgeous, but she shared some tips and tricks she has learned with Examiner.com on keeping your skin beautiful.  The songstress has teamed up with skin care specialist Jan Marini to promote awareness of sun damage and to encourage people to use sunscreen.  Here’s what Savannah chatted about:


What have you learned about sun damage?
Most sun damage occurs before the age of 10, and at least 85% of sun damage happens before the age of 18, which is so crazy. I had no idea that it started occurring that early in someone life. It’s important to wear your sunscreen and your sunglasses because you need to be careful of all the harmful rays.


Savannah’s Beauty Routine:
Not only do I try to use the Jan Marini SPF 30 sunscreen, I wear it even though it’s not really sunny. Especially when I’m performing, because I’m always outside and I can burn. I use Jan Marini cleanser too.


Best beauty advice for the summer:
This summer I’ve been given the advice to just go all-natural and to just wear powder and eyeshadow. All natural for the summer.


Bad beauty advice:
When I was on dance team, the whole teams skin tone had to match so I packed on this thick foundation, and ended up breaking out my whole skin.


The Starlet’s Goals for the Future:
I would love to be nominated for Grammy award. I have been watching the Grammy’s since I was little. I would also love to go on my own tour, and get to sing everyday for 3 months.


Savannah looks so great, we would definitely take her advice and load up on SPF for our summer fun!
