What's in Store for Jake T. Austin?

Wizards of Waverly Place may be drawing to a close, but that doesn’t mean your favorite stars will disappear forever.  Jake T. Austin, who plays Max, has plenty of work lined up for him in the future!
 
Next month, you can catch Jake in the movie New Year’s Eve.  This star-studded movie features some huge names including Halle Berry, Zac Efron, and Abigail Breslin.  Papermag dished some deets on the movie, and it turns out that Abby Breslin’s character Hailey has a major crush on Seth, played by Jake Austin.  Who knows, Jake Austin might even share his first on-screen kiss in the movie!  You’ll have to see for yourself when New Year’s Eve hits theaters December 9.

Jake has also been filming for his 2013 release Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn in which he’ll be playing the iconic Huck Finn.

LA fans have more Jake Austin to look forward to!  If you’ve nabbed your tickets to the 102.7 KIIS FM Jingle Ball, you’ll get to experience Jake live, as he hosts the pre-show to the concert on December 3, which just happens to be his 17th birthday!

Don’t forget, the series finale of Wizards of Waverly Place airs January 6, 2012.  We’re sad to see the Russo family go, but we can’t wait to see what’s in store for Jake and the rest of the cast!
