What You Didn’t See with Kinsey: Zendaya's Sweet 16

Last weekend I went to Zendaya's Sweet 16 and I just HAVE to give you the scoop on the party! 

I am not kidding you when I tell you that Zendaya's party started off like a ride at Disneyland. If Disneyland closed it's doors exclusively for the coolest kids in town.

As we awaited the shuttle to take us up to the swanky Hollywood Hills home... I noticed all the familiar faces around me. IM5 awaiting their turn to buckle their seat belts, Bella Thorne and BF Tristan patiently awaiting the big van, and behind me stood cutie Davis Cleveland. 

I hopped on the bus and Davis took a seat next to me. His dad in the front. Clearly he called shot gun. 

I should mention that my +1 for the night was my 3 month old puppy, Styles (After Harry!). Davis immediately thought the presence of my dog was interesting.

Davis was also enamored by the giant television strategically placed over the driver's head. We bantered back and forth about what we should be watching, since the ride was longer than we had anticipated. I joked that it should be displaying all of the fun we're missing from within the party.  

As we cautiously went up the thin winding roads on our Disney Park-esque adventure, I pulled out a bacon treat for my dog. Davis laughed as Styles ate his treat. “Does it smell like bacon in this van now? It smells like bacon. I'm being rude. Should I put it away?” I asked Davis. “No, I don't think it's a big deal. Everyone loves bacon.” He assured me. “Your dog is definitely not a vegetarian.” He said with a smirk.

Once we arrived, Bella Thorne's boyfriend, Tristan Klier, immediately came over to love on my puppy. He recently went puppy shopping with Bella. He got her a sweet pooch named Kingston that she said she is going to bring by the Fanlala Studio to play with Styles! 

When I asked Bella to describe Zendaya, her entire posture changed. Like she was overcome with love! “I would describe Zendaya as MY girl. She is mine. She has a really great personality and she is always so positive and supportive. Thoughtful of others.” 

Speaking of, Zendaya requested that instead of bringing gifts for her, that her guests bring their favorite books or school supplies to donate to a local elementary school! She told me, “I did it last year. It was really exciting seeing the faces of the kids... the smiles. It was the perfect moment. I'm honored to be in the position to do that. I just had to do it again.” 

Inside I caught Cole, Dana, and Will of IM5 singing “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” in front of a green screen. I kid you not. I have photographic evidence. They are too funny. 

I immediately hit up the Mobli photo booth before Styles and I stepped outside to grab a pop and share a pink cupcake. Styles was a fan of the sparkly frosting. As I juggled a puppy and a soda pop, I dropped my cell phone... I was smitten when Trevor Jackson of Disney's Let It Shine eagerly bent over to collect it for me. What a gentleman! 

As it approached Styles' bedtime, I stepped on the 4th floor elevator of the humungous home to make my departure. Roshon Fegan was walking in as I was walking out and as expected of the charmer, he threw his arms around me and told me not to leave. Rachel Crow was in tow and stumbled upon Lil Mama who insisted they take a picture! 

The shuttle ride home was even more exciting in the dark. I made sure to buckle my seat belt as the twists and turns of the arrival were just as intense throughout the departure. It was just Rachel Crow's crew and I on the way back. She couldn't say enough about the birthday girl, “Zendaya is super swaggy. And awesome. She's just so cool. The best dancer!” 

Not a Mean Girl in sight, It truly was Zendaya's night... and as far as her fierce threads and wardrobe changes were concerned... Fashion is her kryptonite.
