Weekly App: GridBlock

Sometimes it’s simplicity that makes for the most fun, and with this week’s app, you need nothing more than a few blocks for a great time.

‘GridBlock’ is a free app, out now for Android and Apple mobile devices.  The goal is simple: using your phone’s tilt sensor, slide the colored blocks into their respective spots to move on to the next stage.  It sounds easy enough, right?  Not far in, you’ll notice the difficulty ramping up, and as more colors are added into the mix, you’ll be scrambling like crazy to return to older levels to beat your previous times.  

Simplicity is the name of the game when it comes to ‘GridBlock.’  Even though it seems like you’re just controlling a bunch of blocks, the game still looks amazing.  And with a mysterious, futuristic soundtrack, the music will have you tapping your toes the entire time you’re moving those blocks.
