'Victorious,' 'iCarly,' and More Nominated for Primetime Emmys!

The Primetime Emmy Awards is an award show that celebrates the past year’s greatest in television, and what greater TV did we see than some of the hot shows on our favorite stations?

With a heavy focus on network programming, 'Modern Family' swept the comedy categories.  We’re so glad to see it nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, but what was really impressive was the sweeping number of nominations in Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, taking four of the six nominations in that category alone!

Of course, the Emmy’s didn’t ignore our favorite shows on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel.  ‘Good Luck Charlie,’ ‘Victorious,’ and ‘iCarly’ are all being recognized for Outstanding Children’s series.  Even ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ caught the eyes of the Academy, and why wouldn’t it?  That was one heck of a finale!  Your animated favorites are also being recognized, with ‘Phineas and Ferb,’ and ‘The Penguins of Madagascar’ taking away several noms!

This is so exciting, we’re glad so many great shows are getting the recognition they deserve!  You can catch the Awards on Sunday, September 23 at 8:00p.m. ET/5:00p.m. PT only on ABC!
