Now that the summer movie season is over, we’ve got a whole new batch of movies that are in queue over the next few months, and these are the five that we’re most excited for!
'Hotel Transylvania' will be featuring a huge cast of some amazing actors, including Selena Gomez, who will be voicing the main character Mavis, the daughter of the infamous Count Dracula (Adam Sandler). Mavis, now 118 years old, wants to explore the world. Things get turned upside-down, however, when the first human in centuries walks through the doors of Hotel Transylvania! The movie swoops into theaters on September 28.
Everything that happens in ‘Fun Size’ sounds like the exact opposite of fun. Wren (Victoria Justice) just wants to go out and party this Halloween. Too bad her mom (Chelsea Handler) has similar plans, leaving Wren stuck at home with her little brother Albert (Jackson Nicoll). One thing leads to another, and soon the search party is on after Wren and Albert become separated. Make sure you don’t miss ‘Fun Size’ in theaters October 26.
For all you gamers out there, ‘Wreck It Ralph’ is ready to set the record straight. Ralph (John C Reilly) is the notorious video game bad guy Wreck-It-Ralph. Tired of having it his duty to always be defeated, Ralph sets out to make a name for himself as the good guy. He’ll be traversing tons of familiar video game universes in his quest to change his ways. Get into the game when ‘Wreck It Ralph’ premieres November 2.
This year, the story comes to a close in ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.’ In this long-awaited second half, Bella (Kristen Stewart) is embracing her powers as a vampire as she also cares for her and Edward’s (Robert Pattinson) child Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy). The war between the vampires and the Volturi is also at it’s peak, and on November 16, the fate of the races will be decided. You won’t want to miss this one!
‘Rise of the Guardians’ will be a great transition into the winter movie season. Our most fabled legends are teaming up this fall to thwart Pitch (Jude Law). Join Santa (Alec Baldwin), Jack Frost (Chris Pine), the Easter Bunny (Hugh Jackman), the Sandman, and the Tooth Fairy (Isla Fisher) as they use their abilities to ensure that darkness doesn’t blanket the world. The adventure kicks off on November 21.
There are still a ton of other movies landing in theaters this fall. In just a few weeks, we’ll be seeing 'Finding Nemo 3D.' And one boy’s dog gets a second chance at life in ‘Frankenweenie.’ We want to hear what you’re most excited for, so sound off in the comments and let us know!
