Teen Choice Awards Worst Dressed: Patterns Gone Wrong

While there were quite a few perfectly dressed stars at the ‘Teen Choice Awards’ on Sunday night, some stars did not quite look their best.  While experimenting with prints and patterns seems to be quite the summer trend, a few of our favorite stars could not pull them off.

Demi Lovato has been spotted wearing some adventurous looks lately, but her opening Teen Choice pick was not quite right.  While the star rocks some other chic looks throughout the night as host, she starts the night in a pretty scary ensemble.  Her hair is piled high on her head in a large wrap that looks more crazy than chic.  Her dress is just as bizarre with a strange yellow, black and gray geometric beaded pattern. Matching feathers at the bottom of the dress complete the look as worst dressed at the show.  While she did a fantastic job hosting, we wish she wore a simpler look!

Carly Rae Jepsen also chooses a questionable outfit.  She wears a Hawaiian print matching blazer and short combo that is more reminiscent of a quilt in a beach house than an awards show ensemble.  While we cannot stop listening to ‘Call Me Maybe,’ we may reconsider a call to Carly after seeing this outfit. 

Debby Ryan and Rebecca Black are not wearing the greatest looks either as they both attempt to pull off some unfortunate prints.  Debby wears a pink dress with a peculiar geometric print adorning both sides.  The dress appears to not fit her well and seems too mature for her age.  Rebecca’s look is not so great either as she wears a strange orange printed top and black leather skirt, looking more ready for Halloween than the ‘Teen Choice Awards’!

Hopefully these stars will choose some cuter looks in the future!
