So we know you love hearing Taylor Swift’s voice, and can’t wait to next month when her new album ‘Red’ debuts. But if listening to the country star isn’t enough, then we have some amazing news for you!
Just today, Taylor announced that she signed on to play a young Joni Mitchell in an upcoming biopic. Joni, herself, is a widely popular Canadian singer. She’s huge on the rock scene, and we think that Taylor will be a perfect fit for the role. The movie that Taylor will be starring in, ‘Girls Like Us,’ will be very different from anything we’ve seen her in before. She wooed us in ‘Valentine’s Day,’ and made us LOL in ‘The Lorax.’ We can’t wait to see Tay take on her first dramatic role!
In the meantime, we’re eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Red.’ If you haven’t checked it out, yet, Taylor just released her latest single “Begin Again” for download earlier this week. There are just 25 days to go until the album drops, so there’s still plenty of time to get your pre-order in if you haven’t already!
We’re so glad to see Taylor expanding her career into acting. Girl’s got what it takes, and we know we’ll be seeing some amazing music from her up on the big screen!
