Sterling Knight Gets Talkin' About New "Sonny" Episode and His Hopes to Visit Europe

Heads up “Sonny With a Chance” fans, there’s a new episode coming to a TV screen near you! Sterling Knight, Demi Lovato, and the rest of the Sonny gang are back in action for a special hour-long episode! 

Fanlala is certainly excited to see this brand new episode of “Sonny With a Chance,” on Sunday, July 18!  Not only that, but we were lucky enough to chat with Sterling Knight about it!

 Sterling told us, “It’s a big deal, it’s an hour long, and it’s not the stereotypical ‘Sonny’ episode.  Sonny gets set up and we’re all trying to figure it out, meanwhile her reputation gets ruined.  It was quite a production, and there was a plane involved. It’s going to be a different vibe, I’m excited about it.”

Since Fanlala’s been to the Sonny set, we just had to ask about any recent on-set pranks!  Sterling told us that he hasn’t made his revenge yet, because everyone has been so busy.  We’re pretty sure that he will come up with something!

We also wanted to know what Sterling’s summer plans were.  He told us that aside from auditioning and looking for new roles, and he hopes to go to Europe!

As for any summer concerts he would like to see…he told us John Mayer, Maroon 5, Jason Mraz were just a few on his list.  He also said, “James Taylor would be awesome to see live.”

All that fun seems well-deserving for this star, and we can’t wait to see Sunday’s episode at 8:30-9:30 p.m. ET/PT on Disney Channel!

We couldn’t leave without asking if he was really anything like his character Chad Dylan Cooper in which he replied, “I hope not, he’s kind of a jerk.  Chad’s definitely the character that’s the furthest from my real personality.  That’s the fun part about acting…playing someone you’re not.  But the goofy facial expressions are all me.”
