The Stars Came Out for the 'Katy Perry: Part of Me' Premiere

Katy Perry is super excited for the silver screen debut of her movie ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ which debuts in theaters July 5.

Yesterday, Los Angeles’ Grauman’s Chinese Theater played host to the crowds of celebrities that came out to celebrate the release of ‘Part of Me.’  Victoria Justice joined the masses to represent Nickelodeon on the red carpet, while Selena Gomez took time from her busy movie and musical schedule to show Katy her support.  Fans of Katy will remember Rebecca Black’s cameo in the music video for “Last Friday Night,” and Rebecca showed up sporting an awesome new hairstyle that reminds us very much of what Katy herself is sporting.

Of course, the star herself was at the premiere.  And what would it be without a performance from Katy Perry herself?  Fans were treated to a stellar performance right before the showing of the movie.  Her show also marked another milestone, as it kicked-off Pepsi/Billboard’s Summer Beats Concert Series!  You can check out ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me,’ which chronicles the life of the artist before she became huge, up until the sensation that she is today.

We’ve been huge fans of Katy’s music for years now, and the energy that she generates has us fired up to see ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ next week.  Can’t wait!
