Skylar Laine Talks American Idol

It’s coming down to the wire, and last week on ‘American Idol,’ contestant Skylar Laine was unfortunately eliminated from the competition.

In a recent interview, Skylar was asked whether or not there was something she didn’t get to show America.  She said “I showed everything that I could, you know.  I showed ballads.  I showed upbeat songs.  I showed passion.  I showed anger in my songs.  I really think that I showed a lot of stuff.  I wouldn't change a thing that I did on the show.”  We’re glad that she is proud of her accomplishments and what she proved to audiences she could do.

Being one of the younger contestants, Skylar said “this has been the most stressful time.  But the thing is I loved it.  But I said I was relieved because… I won't have to have that crazy hectic schedule.”  Now that she’s able to return to her pre-’Idol’ lifestyle, Skylar also said that she’s looking forward to helping her family out back at their restaurant.

It’s wonderful that Skylar isn’t letting her departure from ‘American Idol’ get her spirits down.  Best of luck in the future, girl!
