Sierra McCormick and PETA Talk Shelter Adoption

Sierra McCormick may have a busy schedule shooting Disney Channel’s ‘A.N.T. Farm,’ but when she’s not busy on set, she’s using her time to save lives.

The young star has teamed up with PETA to promote the adoption of animals from shelters over purchasing them from profit-driven pet stores and breeders. About her partnership, Sierra said "There's so many dogs that get sent into shelters, and a lot of them have to be euthanized because there just aren't enough homes, so when you adopt a dog from a shelter, it gives them a new chance at life.”

Sierra’s very own dog Annie was rescued from a shelter, and she encourages you to do the same if your family is considering bringing an animal into the family.
