Selena's Lending a Hand!

Selena Gomez may be stepping away from the mic for a while, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be hard at work this year.
 
Last Friday Selena, along with Noah Guthrie, and Big Time Rush, raised over $200,000 for UNICEF with her second annual benefit concert at the House of Blues in Los Angeles.  She was very excited about the event, and tweeted how excited she was in “helping to save the lives of children all over the world.”
 
The concert, however, wasn’t the last we’ll be seeing of her charitable efforts.  Inspired by fellow musician Joel Madden, Selena will be heading to the Congo in order to take action and help revitalize the country.  Back in 2009, Selena helped raise funds for the country, but this time around she will be heading out to lend a personal hand.
