Selena Gomez kicked off her “We Own The Night” tour at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa, CA, over the weekend and treated her opening night fans to a big surprise! Fellow pop superstar and current boyfriend, Justin Bieber surprised Selena and her fans with a special appearance!
Selena and her band, The Scene, performed 13 hit songs including, “When The Sun Goes Down,” “Who Says,” and a tribute to pop princess Britney Spears which included a cover of “...Baby One More Time!” Selena, smiled and waved at fans throughout the concert while clutching her bedazzled microphone! Meanwhile, Selena fans sang along to every song while waving their “I Love Selena” signs! Then, the crowd went wild and screamed with excitement when the “Wizards of Waverly Place” star introduced her “friend” Justin Bieber!
Justin gave Sel a big hug before belting out a tune for the crowd, which included stars Bella Thorne and Emily Osment, with his song "Favorite Girl" and Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River." Justin ended his surprise performance by telling fans to "give it up for Selena Gomez!"
Justin tweeted, “Surprise!” and later tweeted, “Had a #greatnight and surprised the people. Felt good to be on stage. Nothing is changing that. #REAL.” After the concert, Justin continued to show his support by tweeting to Selena, "You did great tonight. Proud of you."
