'Radio Disney's N.B.T.' Season 5 Kicks off this Weekend!

The days of you counting down to the next season of Radio Disney’s ‘Next Big Thing’ are almost over, and we have all the details on what’s new this season.

Starting tomorrow, Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney Resort will be hosting a three night event that will be showcasing all of the season five artists.  Hosted by Radio Disney’s Jake Whetter, we’ll be getting a taste of all of the brand new contestants’ musical styles.  We’ll also be treated to a performance by last season’s winner Shealeigh and the runner-up Zack Montana.

Long time fans of ‘Radio Disney’s N.B.T.’ can look forward to some brand new spins on the hit series.  The winner will be looking forward to some fantastic prizes, including a spot on Disney Channel’s ‘Austin & Ally,’ a single released by Disney Music Group, and starring as the opening act at the ‘N.B.T.’ finale for some popular artists.

Starting on July 1, and kicking off in Chicago at the Taste of Joliet, the season five ‘N.B.T.’ artists, along with alumni and popular Radio Disney artists, “N.B.T. On Tour” will be visiting over 15 US cities.  Expected to make an appearance at several of the venues are ‘Austin & Ally’s’ Ross Lynch and Laura Marano.
