Pretty Little Liars Mid-Summer Finale Recap

We are still shocked from last night’s season finale of Pretty Little Liars! The jaw-dropping episode left us in all kinds of emotions. Warning spoilers ahead!

We finally found out who was responsible for Maya’s unfortunate death. Not to much of our surprise, it was her so-called “cousin” Nate who actually turned out to be her stalker. So what lead him to commit such a horrible crime?

Let’s take a step back for a sec. Remember when Maya had told Emily that there was someone watching her? Well, that someone was Nate when she was at Tru North! Nate, or London James, is not only a killer, but he also has quite the silver tongue. In the finale, we see he had Paige tied up and in his closet while having Emily watch the final video of Maya. Later, Emily is back at a tower (when will these girls figure out that towers are not safe?) and alone with Nate. But not to worry, Nate was no match for Em! She took matters into her own hands and put an end to his suspicious ways.

Sadly, Caleb gets injured and here’s where we say queue the water works for poor Hanna. We see him being pulled away in a stretcher, unconscious. Who could have shot Caleb? Well, here’s a clue. At the very end of the episode, Toby is exposed as the second member of the A-team! He can def be a candidate to this mystery, but we will never be able to get over this if it in fact is him who was involved.

We’ll have to wait until next season when it premieres with a Halloween episode on October 23! Thankfully we have Pretty Dirty Secrets to fill in the gap until the show airs again.
