The Olympic Closing Ceremony isn’t something we’re going to forget anytime soon. It was basically a massive party celebrating everything British, which of course included the biggest British cuties there are - One Direction!
Our face Brits performed their massive hit ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ to a crowd of 80,000 in the Olympic stadium, and 26 million worldwide! Now that’s an audience! The boys entered riding on top of a moving truck, and rode around a giant Union Jack flag that appeared in the middle of the stadium! The boys were all wearing some classic British fashion, with Zayn even rocking a top hat!
Other performers at the closing ceremony included One Direction’s good friend Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, and the girl band that started it all, The Spice Girls! The girls did a medley of all of their biggest hits, including ‘Spice Up Your Life’, and finished their performance by riding out of the stadium on top of blinged out London cabs!
We loved the London Olympics, and the closing ceremony was the cherry on top! Who was your favorite performance of the night? We can’t wait to see what the next Olympics will be like, bring on Rio in 2016!
