One Direction Covers "Wonderwall" by Oasis

One Direction seems to have chilled out from their Olympic performance, and a video has surfaced of the guys who seem like they’re taking a break from work.

Oasis was an English rock band who was active from the 1990’s until very recently.  One of their hits, "Wonderwall," has been featured in numerous productions.  Released in 1995, it’s been heard in movies, television, and been on the radio ever since.

One Direction wanted to pay homage to their European musical brethren.  In the video below, lend the boys your ears as they take to their instruments for an acoustic rendition of the classic rock track from the 90’s.  And in case the venue looks a bit familiar, you are correct!  That’s the same beach you saw in 1D’s “What Makes You Beautiful” music video.

Hard at work on their upcoming album, the boys are confident that we’ll have it by the end of the year.  Hey, new music just in time for New Year’s?  No complaints here, and we know that it’ll be One Direction’s best album, yet!  Can’t wait!
