One Direction and The Spice Girls Performing at Olympics Closing Ceremony!

The Olympics have certainly been one heck of a ride this year, but sadly, all good things must come to an end.  It’s a good thing London knows how to cap it off with a bang!

Back in the 1990’s, boy bands ruled the music scene, but there was one group that arguably stood above the rest - The Spice Girls!  Formed back in 1994, the British Pop group swept the nation, and became international phenoms!  With rumors swirling about them returning once more as a band, we couldn’t think of a better time than the Olympics Closing Ceremony!

Of course, everyone also had one other band on their minds... One Direction!  And who better to close off the biggest event of the year than 1D?  What kind of show do you think they’ll put on?  We can only expect a massive performance with tons of lights.  Maybe even a celebrity appearance or two?

Plenty of other bands and artists have joined the roster to give us an Olympic ceremony that soon won’t be forgotten.  We can’t believe another year has come and gone, but nothing can top the history we saw made in these past two weeks.  At least, not until 2016 ;)
