The 2012 Summer Olympics were definitely a spectacle. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.
For the athletes, however, they’ll be immortalized forever as a mark of the peak of their skill. Gabrielle Douglas is the perfect example of a great Olympic success story. Having moved around the country, perfecting her skills in gymnastics, Gabby made it to the London Olympics. There, she took to the floor winning gold medals in both her individual and team events. Way to represent the USA, girl!
Last night, Gabby was a guest on ‘The Tonight Show’ with host Jay Leno. In the video below, you can check out Gabby’s story, and just admire the feeling of success she has at such a young age.
Also featured on last night’s episode was First Lady Michelle Obama, who joined in congratulating Gabby on her Olympic successes. It’s one heck of an interview, so make sure you give it a watch.
We’re so proud of Gabrielle Douglas, and all of Team USA who made their country proud these past several weeks. Can’t wait to see what our winter teams have to pull off in 2014!
