
Nickelodeon Honors Black History Month

February is Black History Month, and it’s when our country takes time to remember prominent African American figures from history, and the steps they’ve made towards racial equality.
Nickelodeon has been a strong supporter of Black History Month for years, and in 2012 they’re really calling focus to this important occasion. Some of Nick’s biggest stars including Cymphonique Miller, Leon Thomas III, and Carlos Knight will be lending their talents in presenting poetry inspired by major dignitaries for African American history.

There, you can learn more about Black History Month and the individuals who have made the strides that have brought us to where we are today.
