We have yet more ‘Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ casting news for you! Are you ready? Here we go!
Here’s the lowdown so far. First off, Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman was cast to play Head Gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee. Then it was announced Jena Malone would play District 7’s Johanna Mason. ‘Phineas & Ferb’ guest star Amanda Plummer was then announced to play the slightly kooky Wiress.
Now the latest from Hunger Games HQ is that two new characters have been cast! Seeder, a victor from District 11, will be played by Maria Howell who has starred in ‘The Blind Side’ and ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Along with Seeder, E. Roger Mitchell will play Chaff, who is also a District 11 tribute.
While there are still a few more spots left to cast, from what we can see so far, ‘Catching Fire’ is going to be amazing! Josh Hutcherson was spotted recently with his hair dyed blonde to play Peeta, so filming can’t be too far off. We are so excited!
