MTV Video Music Award Nominees Announced

It’s been a great year in music, and MTV has just announced who they’ll be honoring at this year’s VMAs.  We’ve got the noms, so who is on the list?

Rihanna and Drake have swept the categories with five nominations each, but they have some heavy competition ahead of them.  Our eyes are on the Best New Artist category.  With Carly Rae Jepsen, The Wanted, and One Direction each owning a spot, we’re not sure who our pick to win that category is!  Justin Bieber and Selena each have nominations for Best Male and Female Videos, respectively.  Meanwhile, Katy Perry has had a huge year, and MTV is recognizing it with four nominations spread across the board.
