Miley Cyrus Had a BIG Weekend!

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus got two bits of amazing news this weekend!!


First, Miley shined last night at the MTV Movie Awards when she won Best Song for “The Climb” which was from “The Hannah Montana Movie.” She was ECSTATIC as she sent out a special thanks to all of YOU for being such amazing fans and voting for her!


Miley tweeted after winning her golden popcorn, “OMGOSH I am sooooo stoked about my award! Thank youuuuu soooo much! I love you guys! My fans are the best thing in the entire world! <3”


The other big news is that it’s official: Hannah Montana will return for a fourth season!! Are you as excited as we are?! Filming just wrapped for the third season and the cast and crew will be getting some time off until early 2010 when they’ll start shooting again. We can’t believe we’ll have to wait that long for more Miley!!


Miley also tweeted early this morning about the show, “last week of season 3 Hannah Montana! :( i am gonna miss everyone so much, but im super stoked about ‘the last song’ :)”


Disney released the following statement about the next season: "Miley and the producers have proposed a change of setting for Season Four that will provide the catalyst for wonderful new characters and further expand the storytelling opportunities." Sounds awesome!!!
