Want to know where Miley Cyrus got the inspiration for her latest video, Party in the U.S.A.???
Chris Applebaum, who directed the fun new video, dished recently to MTV News on how they decided on the theme. Miley's favorite movie is Grease and the premise for the video came from the John Travolta scene where he is singing on one of the swings at a jungle gym.
Miley also wanted to reference back to the time when her parents were dating. Look for the Corral Drive-In in the video, it's named after the drive-in where Tish and Billy Ray went when they were first dating. The '79 Black Pontiac Trans Am Miley gets out of at the beginning of the video is the same kind of car Mommy Tish drove!!
