Radio Disney got to chat with Coco Jones, who will be playing Roxxie in the movie. Coming from a fairly normal upbringing, Roxie hit it big as a pop star. Of any big star has to have their number one hit, and “What I Said” is Roxie’s claim to fame. Later today, the song will broadcast from the red carpet premiere of ‘Let It Shine’ in Atlanta. ‘Let It Shine’ premieres June 15 on Disney Channel. It stars Coco Jones, Trevor Jackson, and Tyler James Williams as three friends caught up in a web of misunderstandings turned to lies.
