The Legend of Korra "When Extremes Meet" Recap

‘The Legend of Korra’ is the amazing successor to ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender.’  And this weekend’s episode might have been the best, yet!

Following decades after the events of ‘The Last Airbender,’ ‘The Legend of Korra’ picks up on the story of a girl from the Southern Water Tribe.  Korra has mastered the bending skills of Fire, Water, and Earth.  With a revolution on the rise, the young elemental bender must master the ancient skill of Airbending if she is to do her part in stopping it.  Together with her friends, Korra will put an end to the oppression against elemental benders.

This weekend, Korra stepped up to one of her biggest challenges, yet.  In “When Extremes Meet,” Korra faced off against someone very close to her as the Equalist grip on the city grew ever tighter.  It was also cool to witness the connection of ‘Korra’ to ‘The Last Airbender’ in several flashback sequences that involved Aang from the previous series.

We were definitely left on a huge cliffhanger with this week’s episode of ‘The Legend of Korra,’ and we can’t wait to see what happens next!
