Kingston Covers Taylor Swift

Earlier this week, Taylor Swift dropped a MAJOR bombshell on us!  A new single, album announcement, cover, and release date?  Someone pinch us.

Of course you’ve downloaded “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” memorized the lyrics, and maybe you’ve even covered it yourself.  In the video below, one of our favorite bands Kingston has already shown the world their cover of the song, and we absolutely love it!  Staying faithful to the feel of the song, we think an acoustic spin is the perfect twist that gives a fresh take on Tay’s latest hit!

Taylor definitely has a number one song on her hands with “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”  The track is the first single off of her upcoming album ‘Red,’ due out October 22.  In a recent interview with MTV, Taylor said “I wrote a song called 'Red' and thinking about what that song means to me and all the different emotions on this album they're all pretty much about the tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships I've experienced in the last two years...”
