Jessica Sanchez Speaks Out About American Idol

Last week, ‘American Idol’ had its eleventh season finale, and a winner was crowned.  Jessica Sanchez was the runner-up, which is still an amazing title to take home.  See what she had to say about her experiences on the show.

Always the amazing sport, Jessica was very happy with the results of the show.  When asked about Phillip Phillips, she said “he’s really an artist’s artist, like he sang so many different songs and every song that he sang it sounds like Phillip.  It always sounds like him, and that’s what it takes to be a real artist.  And I’m so proud of him and I’m so happy with him.”  It’s awesome that she’s so proud of Phillip, they definitely both have awesome shots in the music world!

Now that ‘American Idol’ is over, we know we’d definitely love to hear more music from one of our favorites.  Jessica discussed her plans after the show.  She described the sounds that she’d like to have as “More like urban R&B and stuff, a little bit of pop, but not much.  I want to have that goody kind of side of me, kind of not like bubble gum.”

Jessica Sanchez has an awesome voice, and we can’t wait to hear some albums where she’ll be using it to her maximum potential.  Awesome job this season, girl!
