Jake has just been chosen as the ambassador for the Ronald McDonald House in New York. His role is to provide a voice for the children of the House who are battling pediatric cancer. On Monday, May 21, Jake will be introduced during the 20th anniversary gala. As the newest spokesperson, Jake says that “RMH-NY gives them and their families a place to feel comfortable and protected while going through these treatments for severe illnesses. I wish I could give these kids back one-third of the joy they have given me.” He reminds everyone not to take their health for granted.
This isn’t Jake’s first time helping out with charities, either. Just last month he helped raise money at the Nicholas Sparks Family Weekend where the proceeds were distributed to various organizations.
We think it’s marvellous to see Jake T. Austin doing good for various communities. Keep up the good work, we know there are tons of kids looking up to you!
