With the release of the latest Nicholas Sparks film ‘The Lucky One’ starring Zac Efron, the celebrities came out to celebrate in a very special way for the Nicholas Sparks Celebrity Family Weekend.
Taking place in New Bern, NC, fans from all over gathered to take part in the activities put together by the acclaimed author. Attendees were invited to go on a run, golf with celebrities, and dine with the famous author. All of the proceeds collected through the event were then donated to various charities supported by Nicholas Sparks.
Some of the celebrities in attendance included ‘American Idol’ runner-up Kellie Pickler, and ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ star Jake T. Austin. Jake was happy to greet his fans, sign autographs and take part in the activities. Altogether, it sounds like this was a weekend not to be missed. ‘The Lucky One,’ based off of the hit Nicholas Sparks book, is in theaters now.
