The Hunger Games and Twilight Storm the MTV Movie Awards!

This weekend, the 'MTV Movie Awards' went down, and we were pleased with the results.  A ton of our faves took home the golden popcorn.

‘The Hunger Games’ seemed like the voters’ favorite movie for the awards ceremony.  Both Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson won you guys over as they respectively took home Best Female and Male Performance.  Elizabeth Banks, who took the role of Effie Trinket, won for Best Makeover, and the epic clash at the end wowed audiences enough to win the movie Best Fight.

Some of the night’s biggest awards, however, honored other movies from last year.  ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2’ left a lasting impact, as voters chose the film for Best Cast and Best Hero.  Meanwhile, the Twilight series (which won for Best Movie!) keeps melting hearts, because this is the fourth year in a row the franchise took home Best Kiss, this time for ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1.’  Team Edward all the way!

We’re so glad ‘The Hunger Games’ won as many awards as it did.  The movie totally deserved it - not bad for one that has yet to be released on DVD!
