It’s that time of the year, Comic-Con is in full swing! The event is a four day science fiction and comic book convention that showcases the latest in TV and film, and this year there have already been some big announcements!
Comic-Con is the place where all of the latest news on upcoming films is released. Today, the director of ‘Madagascar 3’, Tim McGrath, announced that the penguins (our faves!) from Madagascar are getting their own movie! That’s right, the movie ‘The Penguins of Madagascar’, will be out in 2015! Plus, ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ has been given the green light as well! We can’t wait!
Also announced at Comic-Con was lots of news about the upcoming animated movie ‘The Croods’, which Emma Stone (The Amazing Spider-Man) is going to star in! ‘The Croods’ is about a family who never leaves their cave until they are finally forced to, and have to deal with the outside world. They then go on a road trip to find a new cave to live in! Emma Stone is playing Eep, the daughter in the film. The head animator James Baxter said that Emma gets so animated when she reads her lines in the recording booth, his team is going to animate her actual movements for the film! Isn’t that cool?
Comic-Con is still running for a few more days, so we will keep you updated if we hear anything else! Let us know if you’re excited to see ‘The Penguins of Madagascar’, ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ and ‘The Croods’! They all sound pretty awesome to us, they are all on our must see list the second they’re out!
