Harry Potter Website to Launch Soon!

Harry Potter may have triumphed over the evil Lord Voldemort, but the story is far from over.  At the end of this month, Pottermore, a website dedicated to everything you wanted to know about the wizarding world, will open its gates.

Was there a character that you just couldn’t get enough of?  What were the founders of Hogwarts really like?  What did the Dursleys do while Harry was learning spells at Hogwarts?  Pottermore was built to answer all of these questions and others that have been asked by die-hard fans from across the globe.  J.K. Rowling, the author behind both the Potter series and the website, dug through her archives finding material that was never before published to post exclusively on the website.

Rowling founded Pottermore on the idea of giving back to her fans for the support they showed over the years.  Potter-maniacs will be able to interact with each other in a safe environment, while newcomers to the series will find loads of useful information.  The website is currently in its beta-testing phase, and it is expected to open up to the public by Halloween.  Best of all, there will be no charge to use the site!
