Get Ready for Phase Two for 'The Avengers'

Another year, another Comic-Con gone by, and this year had some massive announcements for your movie fans out there!

Marvel’s ‘The Avengers’ marked the completion of what they now call “Phase One” earlier this year.  Now that the movie is headed to DVD and Blu-ray on September 25, it’s time to gear up for “Phase Two!”

We’re all super excited for ‘Iron Man 3,’ which lands in theaters next year on May 3.  But what about the rest of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes?  We’ve got some juicy details on the upcoming installments, starting with Thor (Chris Hemsworth)!  On November 8, 2013, venture back to Asgard in ‘Thor: The Dark World’  Then, on April 4, 2014, put on your stars and stripes!  Captain America (Chris Evans) is back for ‘The Winter Soldier,’ and this time he’ll be fighting bad guys in our time period.

Two brand new franchises were also announced.  Adding to ‘The Avengers’ roster is the amazing ‘Ant-Man’ who can alter his size at will.  And ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ features a team of heroes from across the universe.  They include the noble Centurion Nova, and the tech-savvy Rocket Raccoon (who is exactly what you think he is.)  Both movies are due in 2014.

We’re super-pumped for all of the action that Marvel is gearing us up for.  Just one question: when can we expect ‘Avengers 2??’
