Exclusive Q & A: Jennifer Stone on "Harperella"

Jennifer Stone

There is even more magic than usual on tonight's episode of Wizards of Waverly Place.

We caught up with Jennifer Stone about working with real-life magician David Copperfield on this special episode entitled "Harperella!"

Fanlala: This upcoming episode is about fairytales. What are some of your favorite fairytales from when you were a kid?

Jennifer Stone:  I’ve always loved “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Little Mermaid.” Those were my two favorites.

F:  Were there any funny “behind-the-scenes” moments during the taping of this episode?

JS:  There was a lot of me tripping and falling during the waltz sequence.

F:  What was it like having a real life wizard on the show? Did you learn anything?

JS:  My inner kid came out because I was just in awe of anyone who can actually perform magic really well. I was like a 3-year old.

F:  What did you enjoy most about working with David Copperfield?

JS:  He’s just a great guy. I love seeing people who are really great at what they do, and the more obscure that thing is, the more fascinating I find them. I enjoyed watching somebody who was obviously really passionate about magic and so excellent at it. It was awesome to see him in his element.

F:  Why should everyone tune into this episode?

JS:  This episode brings back the nostalgia of being a kid with a Wizards twist to it. So it’s everything you remember about being young, and all of the fairytales your mom used to tell you, but with the all of the shenanigans and the characters from Wizards thrown into it. So it’s a double whammy.

Tune in tonight (November 18) for all the fun!
