You’ve heard his voice on Nickelodeon before. Harland Williams has lent his his voice to Apple on ‘The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange,’ and you can now catch him on Nick’s quirky new comedy ‘Robot and Monster.’
Harland has also starred in several movies, is a well-known stand-up comedian, and he’s even got his own series of books published. How’s that for widespread talent? Check out our Q&A with ‘Robot and Monster’ star Harland Williams below!
Fanlala: Can you tell us about the show ‘Robot and Monster,’ and what your character will be like?
Harland Williams: It's a great, comedic show about two buddies trying to survive in their big crazy world. Monster is a lovable, trusting, friendly guy, who always sees the positive in everything... kinda like me in real life!!!
F: You already lend your voice to ‘Annoying Orange,’ can you tell us what you enjoy most about being part of the Nickelodeon family?
HW: Nick is one of those places that doesn't do anything at fifty percent, they seem to give it their all and it shows. The animation and writing is fantastic as well as all the other voices cast in the show. I like that Nick has such high standards and puts out such quality material.
F: We know that you are also an accomplished writer, can you tell us about your Lickety Split book series?
HW: Lickety Split is a little dinosaur character I created who likes to go on adventures. He's full of life and curiosity. The books are hard to find now as they are no longer in print, so if you find one hold onto it, it's a treasure!!!
F: Everyone in ‘Robot and Monster’ is crazy about bacon! Are there any foods that are staples in your kitchen, or that you just simply can’t live without?
HW: I love bacon too, I mean, who doesn't? So, I keep bacon in my fridge, but more importantly ON my fridge is a magnet with the number for my local pizza delivery service, so how's that for a twist! HA HA!!!
We wonder if Harland takes bacon on his pizza. Food for thought? Let us know what you think of Nick’s new show ‘Robot and Monster’ in the comments section!
