Emma Fuhrmann is a young actress with gigantic dreams. This summer you’ll be able to catch her in the movie ‘The Magic of Belle Isle’ alongside legendary actor Morgan Freeman. She plays one of three daughters of a single mother who unite to help a writer reignite his passion.
We got to chat with Emma about her movie and what she does when she’s not acting. Check out our interview below!
Fanlala: You started your career at just 18 months. What was your very first gig that your mother booked for you?
Emma Fuhrmann: I started with an agency when I was 18 months old and they sent me to do a print job for JC Penney.
F: We know that you enjoy swimming competitively, how long have you been doing it and what are your favorite strokes?
EF: I have been swimming since I was 5 - I started on a summer swim team in my neighborhood. I would say my favorite stroke is freestyle, but they say I'm really good at the butterfly, but it's not my favorite!
F: How was your role in the upcoming movie ‘The Magic of Belle Isle’ different from anything you’ve done so far?
EF: Being on location for a film outside of LA or TX. ‘The Magic Of Belle Isle’ movie was filmed on a lake outside of NYC for 6 weeks.
F: You’re already on your way to making a big name for yourself. Is there anything that you’re working on right now that fans have to look forward to?
EF: Well, you can see ‘The Magic of Belle Isle’ this summer!!!
F: You have a strong following of fans, some who have even gotten together to assemble an Emma fan site. Is there anything you want to tell Emma supporters?
EF: I love the fan site that was made for me! I love how much people believe in me and support me! I would just tell them I love them all and to sit back relax and get ready for a long journey together!
We think ‘The Magic of Belle Isle’ sounds like a wonderful, inspirational tale that’s definitely worth seeing.
