Exclusive Interview: Bailee Madison

Are you ready for this week's episode of R.L. Stine's 'The Haunting Hour' with special guest star Bailee Madison? If you can't wait to see it, we've got an EXCLUSIVE Fanlala interview with the star, detailing her time on set, other acting roles, and what she does outside of acting. Check it out below!
Fanlala: This isn’t your first time acting in a scary role, what was it like for Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark? Did you draw inspiration for The Haunting Hour from that character?
Bailee Madison: Filming "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" was amazing! The sets were so incredible, but thankfully, I have never actually been scared like that in real life, so it was a very challenging role for me. I hope you enjoyed it :)
No, I didn't. My character Sally in Don't Be Afraid of the Dark is completely different than my character Jenny in "Scarecrow." Although they are both frightened young girls, their scenarios are quite different.
F: What did you enjoy most about working on set of The Haunting Hour?
BM: It is always such a joy to work with The HUB network. Everyone is like family. What I enjoyed most about working on this episode was that it takes place on a farm. That meant everyday we had cows, horses and chickens running loose! I remember that one of the farms we were working on had over 150 kittens! Everyone on set wanted to take one home :)
F: You’ve already worked with some MAJOR names in Hollywood, who is your biggest inspiration?
BM: There are two names that jump right out to me they are Mariska Hargitay and Katie Holmes. Both of these women are incredibly talented, and also wonderful moms, they would be down on their knees right after a take to play with their kids. They’re beautiful women inside and out, and that’s what inspires me!
F: We know that you’ve done some charity work in the past, can you tell us more about that?
BM: Of course, I am involved with a foundation called Alex's Lemonade Stand. Alex's Lemonade Stand was founded by a little girl named Alex Scott who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma a day before her first birthday. Alex started her own lemonade stand at the age of four, not to help herself, but to help doctors find a cure so that other kids didn't have to suffer! Alex lost her battle at the age of 8, but with the help of others, raised over 1 million dollars! I am very grateful to be a part of this wonderful foundation, working together to find a cure for childhood cancer one cup of lemonade at a time.
