Exclusive! Get to Know The X Factor's Rachel Crow

We all fell in love with her during her audition, and now Fanlala got a chance to learn more about The X Factor's Rachel Crow.  She's the talented 13-year-old who won the judges over with her rendition of "Mercy," and who (like many girls her age) loves Justin Bieber.

Fanlala: What was it like seeing your audition on television for the first time?
 
Rachel:  Mind Blowing!  I hardly remembered what the judges said when I was on stage but when I watched it back I was so overwhelmed and I couldn't believe that L.A. Reid told me what he did and when Simon said "remember the name Rachel Crow because I think we are going to be hearing a lot about you" I was so excited I couldn't believe it.
 
F:  Who are some of your singing idols?
 
R:  Well I love Eminem more than any other artist in the world!  I think he is genius. But I also love Justin Bieber I think he is a cutie pie hahaha. ;)  I think Adele has an amazing voice, and I love Beyonce and Rihanna because they are so beautiful and they can "Sang"!  I also love Pink because she is so true to herself and doesn't really care what other people think about her.
 
F:  What was it like performing in front of the famous judging panel?
 
R:  Ohhh it was so surreal because I grew up watching Paul and Simon on American Idol for the longest time and I when I look back on my performance in front of them and I saw all their faces I felt like I had finally chased and caught my dream :)
 
F:  What are some of your hobbies outside of performing?
 
R:  I love to swim I was on the swim team in Colorado.  I love to go to the movies I have seen almost all of the movies but my mom doesn't let me see rated R movies.  I barely get to see pg13 lol Oh yeah I am 13 :)  I love Martial Arts and Stunt Acrobatics I go to a place called XMA when I am in Burbank where I live part of the time.  I love Downtown Disney and Disney pin trading -  I know I'm kind of a geek that way.
 
F:  What are your hopes after doing the show?
 
R:  I really hope to become famous and to get to go on tour and sing my heart out.  And of course I hope to win the $5,000,000 so hopefully I'll make it through Boot Camp and I'll feel like I already won.
 
F:  What did your friends/kids at school think about seeing you on The X Factor?
 
R:  I am homeschooled now but the kids in Colorado that I used to go to school with freaked out, and I had so many text msgs and Facebook friend requests.  I also got friend requests from kids in other countries like Canada, Ireland, the UK, New Zealand, Australia, and even Belgium!  So many kids have told me that I inspire them to chase their dream, and that was one of the big reasons for me to even audition for the show so that really inspires me to work harder to try and win the competition.

We'll get to see more of Rachel during "Boot Camp" on The X Factor on October 5 and October 6 on FOX.  During these epiosodes the judges will be looking at the contestant's overall performance styles.
