E! is Naming the '15 Awesomest Boy Bands'

Right now, boy band fever is spreading the nation.  With us tickled by some of the world’s biggest bands right now, we have to remember that this isn’t the first time it’s happened!

The Wanted and One Direction, you love them.  We love them.  Right now they’re sweeping the world with popularity, and no TV station knows it better than E!  An upcoming special, E!’s ‘15 Awesomest Boy Bands’ will be airing next week, and it will be honoring, what else?  The bands that have shaped, and are currently shaping the history of the music world.

Sure we have our UK squeezes 1D and The Wanted, but what about those that came before them?  You’ve certainly heard of N’Sync and The Backstreet Boys.  And fans went crazy for NKOTB (that’s New Kids on the Block) back in the 90’s.  E! is getting ready to show some love for the iconic groups that got millions of fans around the world screaming for more.  You won’t want to miss the ‘E! Entertainment Special: 15 Awesomest Boy Bands’ when it premieres Tuesday, July 24 at 9:00p.m. ET/PT.

We can’t wait to see how boy bands have evolved over the ages - this is one special we’ll want to check out for sure!
