This has been a banner year for classic Disney animation fans. And now Disney has opened their vault for two more classic tales.
To celebrate the 35th anniversary of its release, Disney is launching a double feature for ‘The Rescuers’ series. Following two brave mice, Bernard (Bob Newhart) and Bianca (Eva Gabor), join the adventure and track down a little girl captured by ruthless treasure hunters in ‘The Rescuers.’ Then, in ‘The Rescuers Down Under,’ you’ll strap in once again, this time to Australia as the miniature team seeks to save an endangered eagle from menacing poachers.
This very special home video release is currently available on both DVD and Blu-ray as a double feature, and it’s loaded with special features including a deleted song “Peoplitis,” a making-of for ‘The Rescuers Down Under,’ as well as sing alongs and a documentary on the animals that inspired the characters in the movie.
Also releasing from Disney's vault later this year is one of our favorite Princess tales 'Cinderella.' Make sure to add the gem to your collection on October 2!
We’re huge fans of these two Disney classics, and now you can catch them on high-definition home video today! What other treasured Disney movies would you love to see released to watch whenever you want?
