Disney Channel Initiating 'Code: 9'

Hidden camera prank shows have always been a hit with television audiences.  This month, Disney Channel will be taking it to a whole new level in a brand new series!

Practical jokers, get ready for ‘Code 9,’ a brand new reality show with its own sense of humor and a brand new attitude.  Viewers will join a kid and one of their parents as they team up with Hollywood effects artists to pull some of the funniest pranks on the other parent.  Its all in good, unscripted, unsuspecting fun as you’ll catch genuine reactions that will have you begging for more!

On the premiere episode, a golf-loving dad will be taking the fake heat for a golf cart mishap caused by some of his prized clubs.  How will he try to reason himself out of the situation, and what’s his reaction when he realizes it was all a setup?  Find out, when ‘Code 9’ premieres Thursday, July 26 at 8:00p.m. ET/PT only on Disney Channel!

We’ve been huge fans of ‘Punk’d’ and even old episodes of the classic show ‘Candid Camera’ before that!  ‘Code 9’ will fit in perfectly with those shows.
