Debby Ryan and Disney Team Up for Friends for Change

Disney Channel has been running their Friends for Change campaign, and we’re pleased to hear how wildly successful it’s been so far!

Friends for Change (FFC) was initiated by Disney Channel to inspire kids, their friends, and families to get up and get active to help out their communities.  This year, starting this month and continuing through November, stars from your favorite Disney Channel shows like ‘Jessie,’ ‘Shake It Up,’ and ‘Austin & Ally’ will be teaming up to help motivate kids to get active in their community.  Friends for Change has also been very active in the anti-bullying campaign in the past.

Most recently, Debby Ryan of ‘Jessie’ fame served as an ambassador for FFC.  The Disney star took to India where she lent her time to help build a brand new school for a local village.  This Friday, June 29, you’ll be able to hear her story on Disney Channel, Radio Disney, and Disney.com.  And during this massive campaign, those are your sources for everything involving Friends for Change.

This is a great way for Disney to not only give a little to this world, but help inspire their viewers to pitch in as well.  And we think it’s a very admirable move.
