The Dark Knight Rises Coming to Theaters Next Month!

With ‘The Avengers’ fresh in our minds, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ on the horizon, there is still one more comic movie in 2012 that has everyone talking.

In 2005, we witnessed his origin.  In 2008, he was put through one of his biggest challenges, and this year, the world will watch as ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’  Out next month, TDKR takes place eight years after ‘The Dark Knight.’  A new villain is in Gotham, Bane, and he believes it is his turn to introduce the city to his brand of chaos.  Bruce Wayne sees no other choice than to come out from hiding as Batman and put a stop to Bane’s plans.

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ sees the return as Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman.  Joining him for the first time in the Dark Knight series is Tom Hardy as Bane, who consistently needs a special medication known as “Venom” pumped into his body.  Anne Hathaway also joins the cast in the role of Batman’s notorious adversary Catwoman.  TDKR lands in theaters July 20, 2012.  Make sure you nab your pre-order tickets ASAP, and don't forget to check out the latest trailer below!
