Country Music Award Nominations Announced!

The Country Music Awards honor country music’s greatest stars! The show will air November 1, and the nominees were recently announced!

The show will be hosted by country favorites, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley.  Some of our favorite stars received tons of nominations- we’re so proud!

Taylor Swift, who recently released “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” received three nominations! She has been nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Musical Event of the Year!  She is up against country greats such as Kenny Chesney and Carrie Underwood! Taylor has won a bunch of Country Music Awards in the past, and has won Entertainer of the Year twice before!

Kelly Clarkson was also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year! She faces fellow American Idol alum Carrie Underwood as well as Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, and Taylor Swift! 

While Scotty McCreery did not make the list of nominees, Hunter Hayes did!  Hunter is nominated for New Artist of the Year!  We are excited to see if he wins and really hope he does!

The Awards will not air until November, but we’re hoping that our favorites snag some wins!
