Children Mending Hearts Interviews: Part 1

This weekend, Children Mending Hearts honored several individuals who really made an impact in their communities, and motivated those affected to get involved with the arts.

Stars aplenty came out in support of this wonderful event, and Fanlala got to catch up with them all!  All of them who create art in one way or another let us know what they thought of this amazing cause.  Daphne Blunt of Radio Disney got to chat with us, she said that “I consider myself an artist, and that the arts are something that everyone should get to experience.”  And singer Jasmine V “thinks it’s amazing that they’re giving kids a chance to be creative.”

Even Jennifer Veal, who normally plays a mean-spirited nanny on ‘Jessie’ came out to show the true size of her heart for Children Mending Hearts.  She said that this event is “better than people just giving money, it gives people a chance to help others with things they’ve been inspired by, which can help inspire people all over the world.”  Jennifer tells us that she helps out the charity by “teaching the kids, and helping them with their scripts.”

All in all this is a wonderful cause that really helps out communities by getting their volunteers directly involved.  We were very happy to be there with everyone who made it possible.
