Suite Life on Deck starlet Brenda Song recently sat down for an interview with the Los Angeles Times to chat about life on Suite Life, her character, London, filming with the Sprouse Twins, and more!
Brenda raved about the actual filming of Suite Life and her character London. She said, “I have so much fun. We have all become a family…The crew is really like a family. We have a good time." She has a blast playing her character, the super-rich hotel heiress London Tipton. According to Brenda, one of the highlights of playing such a wealthy character is the fun wardrobe! “I always say London and I are so different, but I would love to have her closet because her closet is infinite and it is like crazy.” She said she especially loves all the cute shoes London wears!
She also loves working with the Sprouse Twins, Dylan and Cole. She even said they’re becoming more like brothers to her. They’ve all been working together for so long we’re not surprised!
Now that the show has switched from Suite Life of Zack and Cody to the Suite Life on Deck, Brenda had lots to say about the adjustment. She talked about the change of setting for the show from a hotel to a cruise ship: “We have really taken the idea of living in a hotel and we have totally expanded on that by going to different ports, cultures, different characters so it is really really fun. We get stuck in a lifeboat in the middle of the ocean.” They’re unfortunately not on a real cruise ship for filming, although they did premiere the show on a Disney Cruise!
