'Brave' Wishes a Happy Mother's Day

May 13 is Mother’s Day, and the people at Disney Pixar created a clip montage of scenes from their upcoming movie ‘Brave’ to showcase how important mothers can be in our lives.

Princess Merida (Kelly Macdonald) and her mother, Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson) don’t always see eye-to-eye.  Merida has some very non-traditional dreams of becoming a great warrior, which leads her to acting out as princess, putting her weapons on the dinner table, and generally not living up to the Queen’s expectations.  However, despite their differences, the two understand the important bond a mother and daughter must have in order to keep a strong family.

You can check out the “Happy Mother’s Day” trailer below, featuring clips from ‘Brave.’  It’s a definite reminder of how important moms can be in our lives.  And don’t forget that Mother’s Day is this Sunday, so do something nice for your mom this weekend.  Even the simplest gesture can have the greatest impact.
